Nestled along the shores of the Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Oklahoma, under a canopy of mature trees, lies the perfect RV destination getaway: Water’s Edge RV & Cabin Resort. Jutting out onto the more than 40,000 acres of the Grand Lake, this RV park has every box checked regarding tranquility, ways to stay, boat slip rentals, lots of community activities and a fabulous clubhouse. Pulling into Water’s Edge, you can’t miss the meticulously maintained grounds and the sprawling layout of the RV park. Most of the 98 RV sites sit along the banks of the Grand Lake, each with its own covered deck providing peaceful views out over the water. A handful of interior sites still offer a covered back deck area perfect for sipping a beverage after a long day on the lake. Have an RV but would prefer something other than hauling it back and forth to Water’s Edge? Repeat visitors use the RV setup that the park offers. By renting a nearby storage unit for your RV, Water’s Edge will pick up your RV from storage and deliver it to your site, so all you need to do is unpack to start your vacation. Other amenities and features include a stocked store with t-shirts, snacks, drinks, ice cream, firewood, propane exchange and fishing bait.
Water’s Edge works hard at creating a community atmosphere, and activities abound at this RV park. From welcome-back parties to golf cart parades and even a bring-your-own-pool party, guests feel more like family and make many lifelong friendships. The large clubhouse at the heart of the park offers the perfect place to host a party, or to kick back, relax and play a game of pool. The large, fully stocked kitchen and seating space make this an ideal location for rallies and family get-togethers. For the non-RVers of the family, Water’s Edge offers more ways to stay, ensuring every member of your family can stay their way. Along with the 98 full-hook-up sites, the park also offers cabin rentals and two large homes that can easily accommodate up to 12 people. Past home rental guests have been non-RVers looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway in a tranquil setting that offers plenty to do.
While the park doesn’t have a pool, water access is a breeze. The swim dock sits within a protected cove and is a great way to get waterside and enjoy the lake. For guests wanting to bring their own boat, the park is just minutes from the nearest boat ramp, allowing you to drop in your boat and dock it at the on-site boat slips available to rent. Explore the expansive lake, known for its bass fishing and water sports. With more than 1,300 miles of shoreline, there’s plenty of lake to keep every water enthusiast occupied.
Surrounding the Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees are plenty of towns, parks, casinos, paddle wheel riverboat tours, a botanical garden and a winery to explore if you want to spend a day outside the RV park. You’ll find your perfect piece of paradise right inside Water’s Edge RV & Cabin Resort. Water’s Edge is where you unwind and enjoy a slower pace; this is true relaxation at its finest.
