Aunt Jody’s Baked Beans
Oh, the food that has come out of my aunt’s kitchen! Try a few of her recipes and you’ll be hooked—and you may find yourself trying to locate her kitchen to try her dishes firsthand. This is an easy crockpot recipe, perfect for any time of year.
Aunt Jody’s Baked Beans
Ingredients
8 – 15. 5 oz of Great Northern Beans, drained
1 small bottle of ketchup
1 – 12oz can tomato sauce
1 box brown sugar (about 2 ¼ cups)
1 TBSP mustard
1 pound of bacon
1 TBSP molasses
Directions
Mix all in a crockpot and cook on high for about 2 hours, then turn to low for another 6-8 hours.
Serve, enjoy and then countdown to when you can eat some more of these delicious beans!
