Warm Cinnamon Apple Crisp for Two
Warm Cinnamon Apple Crisp for Two
Because not every Thanksgiving dessert needs to feed an army — sometimes it just needs to feel like home. This easy apple crisp bakes up golden and bubbly with cinnamon-spiced apples, a buttery oat topping, and a scoop of melty vanilla ice cream on top.
Ingredients:
-
2 apples, peeled and sliced
-
2 tbsp brown sugar
-
1/2 tsp cinnamon
-
1 tbsp butter, melted
-
2 tbsp flour
-
2 tbsp oats
-
1 tbsp chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions:
-
Toss apples with 1 tbsp brown sugar and half the cinnamon. Place in two small ramekins or one mini baking dish.
-
Mix remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, oats, and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
-
Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
-
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
RVD Signature Twist: Add a splash of maple syrup or crumble in a gingersnap cookie for that extra “Thanksgiving hug” flavor.
