Luxurious is definitely the best word to describe this mountaintop motorcoach-only resort. Your stay is designed to be very different from any other RV park experience you have ever had. Pulling into the beautifully manicured park, it’s easy to see why the park has rules regarding the types and age of motor coaches that are allowed into the park. All sites are individually owned, and driving through the park you can see the level of care owners take in their sites. Gorgeous covered, outdoor kitchens complete with gourmet grills all surrounded in stack-stone work. Meticulously landscaped sites with hand-laid paver stone pads with built in gas fire pits, outdoor bars and water features. Driving by multi-million dollar coaches parked next to equally beautiful “carriage houses”, your jaw drops at just how gorgeous this park truly is. Then you get to the top of the ridge, pull into your site to have your windshield open up to the most awe-inspiring view you have ever experienced. The valley opens up over Gorges State Park and you feel like you are on top of the world.
Mountain Falls offers a unique RV experience and prices are higher than what you would at your typical RV park. But, for what you get, prices are reasonable and fair. The website offers a map to view and pick a site that is perfect for you. Whether or not sites are available depend on owners’ desire to rent and they range from well appointed sites (usually on the lower levels) to sites with awe-inspiring views but usually with less on-site upgrades. These sites still offer hand-laid paver pads that are incredibly long and wide, offering ample parking and entertainment space. Resort amenities rival any traditional resort and include a private clubhouse, 9-hole golf course, two pools, a hot spa, fitness facility, concierge services, laundry facilities, dog park, pickleball court, a walking and golf cart trail and more. A favorite Mountain Falls tradition is the Liberty Coach Cocktail Cart which travels the resort, pouring adult beverages for free for residents and renters, all provided by Liberty Coach.
Some might think a stay at Mountain Falls would feel too “swanky” to be enjoyable. From personal experience though, the feel of the stay, owners and renters in this park is far from “swanky”. Everyone is welcomed with large smiles, “hellos” and a genuine feeling of community. Neighbors are seen hanging out in the evenings, fireside, enjoying great conversation and a few beverages. An active Social Committee makes everyone feel welcome and activities like ice cream socials are frequent and designed to bring everyone together. There is even a group that organizes outdoor pursuits for owners and renters to get together and enjoy.
Proximity to Asheville, Nantahala National Forest, Lake Toxaway and the town of Brevard provides plenty of outdoor and cultural activities outside of the resort to enjoy. Come and stay for a truly unique RV experience. You’ll leave glad that you came and will be looking at your calendar to discover when you can come back.
