Mom’s Christmas Snowballs

Makes 4 dozen

Ingredients:

▢ 2 sticks butter

▢ ¼ c sugar

▢ 1 c chopped pecans

▢ 2 c sifted flour

▢ 1 tsp. real vanilla

▢ confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Cream butter until soft.
Add sugar, pecans and flour.
Mix well.
Add vanilla.
Shape into balls and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 30 minutes.
In a paper bag, put confectioners sugar and toss cookies in the sugar while still hot. Toss again when cookies have cooled completely. This makes them nice and covered.
