Mom’s Christmas Snowballs

Makes 4 dozen
Ingredients:
▢ 2 sticks butter
▢ ¼ c sugar
▢ 1 c chopped pecans
▢ 2 c sifted flour
▢ 1 tsp. real vanilla
▢ confectioners sugar
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Cream butter until soft.
- Add sugar, pecans and flour.
- Mix well.
- Add vanilla.
- Shape into balls and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 30 minutes.
- In a paper bag, put confectioners sugar and toss cookies in the sugar while still hot. Toss again when cookies have cooled completely. This makes them nice and covered.
