The Cody KOA is no exception to the campground brand that KOA has painstakingly built, and mastered, over the years.

Don’t have an RV or camper? No worries, this KOA has you covered. They offer tent sites as wells as camping cabins, deluxe cabins and if you’re looking for a truly memorable experience, two teepees as well.

After a nice, long soak, mosey on back to your campsite to enjoy a fire, courtesy of the free firewood delivery service available on purchases of firewood. The park also offers a large outdoor scrabble board, a group firepit, its own dedicated pancake area and even onsite bike rentals. Here’s some insider tips to get the most out of your Cody KOA stay. Cody is located in an arid climate, which means tall, lush shade trees aren’t as common as in the Midwest. So, seeking refuge from the hot summer sun can be challenging in this landscape. There are, however, some good size shade trees towards the front of the park. Site D1 sits directly under a very large, shady tree. This is one of the four deluxe RV sites in the park so expect to pay more for the extra features included in the deluxe sites. But the shade tree, proximity to the pool and front store make this spot (and the three next to it) worthy of the extra charge. On the opposite side of the front office is another section of RV sites that do have some trees dispersed among them. This side of the park also is home to some really long pull-through sites (80’ max length). While visiting Cody KOA, be sure to spend some time perusing the front store. This store is chocked-full of so many goodies! There are some incredibly unique RV home goods that you’ll convince yourself you just can’t live without. There are RV and home decorations galore in this little store and you’ll find yourself visiting several times just to make sure you didn’t miss anything. Be sure to grab a graphic t-shirt or sweatshirt to remind yourself of your incredible stay at Cody KOA. Prices are incredibly reasonable and leaving without a shopping bag full of goodies almost seems wrong.
KOA never disappoints. Since 1962, KOA has perfected the art that is a campground and Cody KOA is a beautiful piece of that art. As your evening rolls to an end and you watch the sun set behind the mountains, the campfire crackling nearby, you relax just a little bit more knowing that KOA has thought of it all, helping you to have the perfect vacation.
