RV Park / RV Campground – Bay Breeze on the Bay RV Park

Every so often you discover a campground so wonderful that part of you wants to be selfish and keep it a secret. It’s tucked away, small, cozy, the owners are amazing, the views are breathtaking and the prices are affordable. If the secret gets out, it could get busy and hard to get into. But at the same time, you want everyone you know to spend some time at this secret hideaway and have the same experience you did.
Bay Breeze RV on the Bay in Gulf Shores, Alabama is that place for me. Tucked away off Fort Morgan Road on the bay side, sheltered under a huge canopy of trees is this quiet and quaint RV park. Don’t expect much in the way of amenities other than a bathhouse and basic laundry facilities. There is no pool, no playground and no front store. What you will find here, though, are the most stunning sunsets and a true escape from the hustle and bustle campgrounds and vacations can sometimes be. You can sit on the dock and watch the world go by or grab a chair and lay out on their small, private beach. Staying here makes you want to slow down, breathe and just enjoy not doing much.
The park has just 25 sites and offers cabin and RV rentals as well. During our stay we were lucky enough to grab the best spot in the park. There are just two sites that sit right along the bay; one can be backed into and the other you pull nose-in first; this allows your door to open up directly onto the bay. The park sees a lot of travel trailers but not a lot of driveables, so the pull-in site was open and perfect for us and our Class A. We were just a few steps from the small beach and our evenings were spent sitting outside, feeling like we were the only people in the small park, watching Mother Nature say goodnight to the setting sun, the sound of gentle waves lapping at the shoreline.
Bay Breeze has been one of my most favorite campgrounds that we have visited. Bay Breeze is a place to unplug, unwind and reconnect with those you love the most. Do me a favor though – let’s keep this campground between you and me. Click here for more information on Bay Breeze.
